PERSIS QUARTZ CARE GUIDE
Engineered Properties
Cleaning Guidelines

After installation, clean the surface thoroughly with warm water, mild soap, and a soft microfiber cloth or non-abrasive sponge, then dry completely.
Simply use warm water and a few drops of mild neutral dishwashing liquid. Rinse thoroughly and wipe dry with a soft cloth to avoid hard water limescale.
Clean spills like coffee, tea, and oils promptly. For dried residue, apply a mild non-abrasive cleaner in gentle circular motions, rinse with clean water, and dry.
Protection & Preventive Measures
Scratch Protection
While quartz has a Mohs hardness of 7, always use cutting boards and avoid dragging heavy, sharp metallic utensils directly across the surface.
Thermal Shock Prevention
Never place boiling pots, hot skillets, or oven trays directly onto the quartz slab. Always use trivets or heat-resistant protective pads.
Harmful Chemicals & Solvents
Avoid contact with strong solvents, paint strippers, trichloroethane, concentrated hydrochloric acid, or high-alkaline degreasers. Rinse immediately if spilled.
Edge & Corner Protection
Avoid high-impact blows with heavy pots or equipment against fabricated edges, corners, and sink cutouts.
